Page Oct Character Activity For each type of character on page 11, give an example from a book, movie, or TV show. Give the character’s name, the name of the book/movie/TV show, and explain what makes that character fit that type.

Turn the title page of your INB  Work on filling in the plot and character squares on the title page.  Each square should show a symbol or example that helps you remember the details of analyzing plot and character.  Must be colorful.

First period – finish watching and going over videos on Author’s Purpose.  Number your paper 1-9, skipping at least 1 line in between.  For each video clip, you will write down the author’s purpose.  As you answer, be sure to explain why you chose that purpose. 

Page 15 – Point of View  Cut out the four windows.  Color the First Person curtain pink  Color the Third Person curtains in various shades of blue (each one a different color blue.  Fold the curtains so that the top part makes a tab.  Put glue on the back, leaving the rest of the curtains to fold up.  Don’t worry about the yellow frames, we’re not doing those.

Page 17 – Inference  Cut out and color the pieces as shown below.  Glue the three pieces, gluing only the tabs for “Prior Knowledge” and “inference”  Glue the red piece all the way down.
