What is a podcast? A method of publishing files to the Internet, allowing users to subscribe to a feed and receive new files automatically by subscription, usually at no cost. It first became popular in late 2004, used largely for audio and increasingly video files.

How to get a podcast onto your computer Decide what you want to find Go to a website that contains an RSS feed Use a catalogue and aggregator such as iTunes to search, browse and subscribe to your chosen podcast Use an appropriate browser or an aggregator (e.g. iTunes or Doppler) to subscribe to the podcast Download episodes to an mp3 player if you want
