THE CIVITAS INITIATIVE IS CO-FINANCED BY THE EUROPEAN UNION CIVITAS CIVITAS – cleaner and better transport in cities – stands for CIty-VITAlity-Sustainability. CIVITAS is an EU initiative for supporting and evaluating the implementation of integrated sustainable and energy efficient urban transport strategies in European cities that should make a real difference to the welfare of the European citizen. CIVITAS Initiative, a programme of “cities for cities,” was launched in 2000

THE CIVITAS INITIATIVE IS CO-FINANCED BY THE EUROPEAN UNION Supporting projects, promoting the Initiative CIVITAS VANGUARD VANGUARD is the Support Action for coordination and dissemination for CIVITAS Plus projects and the CIVITAS Initiative itself Disseminate the results of the CIVITAS Initiative by targeting urban transport practitioners in an enlarged European Union Coordinate common interest activities for CIVITAS Plus cities, and balance and extend their dissemination programmes Offer an interface between the EC, the CIVITAS community and European society

THE CIVITAS INITIATIVE IS CO-FINANCED BY THE EUROPEAN UNION VANGUARD Training overview 9 trainings within three clusters –Expectations Management –Technical Planning –Mobility Management This event is the 3rd workshop organised in the Mobility Management strand.

Passengers with reduced mobility: EU takes action: –Vehicles and infrastructure side –Operations (passenger rights – also for bus and coach!)
