7 THE CIVITAS INITIATIVE IS CO-FINANCED BY THE EUROPEAN UNION Exchanging ideas and experiences CIVITAS Forum Network Once a year, the CIVITAS Forum conference brings together representatives from member cities Each CIVITAS Forum conference takes place in a different city and includes site visits that promote a real transfer of expertise CIVITAS Forum: Malmö (Sweden), 27-29 September 2010 Funchal (Portugal), 17-19 October 2011 Vitoria Gasteiz (Spain), 24-26 September 2012

8 THE CIVITAS INITIATIVE IS CO-FINANCED BY THE EUROPEAN UNION Awarding CIVITAS Forum Network cities CIVITAS Award Annual award, presented to members of the CIVITAS Forum Network whose transport policies or activities to achieve clean urban transport are outstanding Presented in connection with the annual CIVITAS Forum meeting The winners are awarded based entirely on the merit of their applications
