Hello family this is my post cards from Sudan By Amir Khan Cavic and Brett Cadra

Sudan’s place’s to go.

On my trip to Sudan I went on a boat down the Nile river. Sudan is 100 degrees or 113 degrees all year that’s crazy! When I was in town a man told asked me if I wanted to see some pyramid's I said yes. But I thought he was going to take me to Cairo Egypt but we went to some place in Sudan Their were some pyramid's I thought it was amazing. They weren't that big though. Sudan is close to many country’s like Ethiopia to the south east, chad to the north east, Egypt to the north and Libya to the north west.

Sudan’s people

Sudan heath facilities lack supplies and medicine southern facilities and other abandoned or destroyed. International relief agency’s provide minor services. malirea present in the whole country 1.4% of the adult population is h.i.v. positive.

Sudan culture

when I went to town I found out that 70% of Sudan is Muslim. Muslim women have to change how they dress they would have to wear a hijab. In Sudan their official language is Arabic. Brittan use to rule Sudan but they gave Sudan self-rule. Sudan his home to many different cultures and culture events but I sadly wasn’t near any towns who were celebrating one.

Sudan

In Sudan the British ruled them from and it had a lasting impact on Sudan. In addition to pacifying and uniting the country, Britain sought to modernize Sudan by using technology to facilitate economic development and by establishing democratic institutions. In 1956 Sudan gained independence peacefully when Britain when they gave them self-rule. I found a piece of paper today it read war in Sudan I put it I with the post card its kind of ripped though. Sudan had a civil war that was one of the longest civil wars in the world from that’s crazy.

Sudan What’s happening over here

There was an agreement to soon withdraw There respective military forces with south Sudan. Sudan and south Sudan have been in a Civil war for oil and it s production when I got Here it was a huge war seen. Broken buildings And huge ditches. But South Sudan and Sudan Have signed a peace treaty. Good for them.

Good bye Sudan
