Leadership Philosophy Taylor Olpin

LEADERSHIP listener empathy accountability developer example role theory servant leader hardworking includer positivity

Leadership Listener: A strong quality a leader should have is to be able to listen to their followers. I think as I leader I posses this skill, to be able to listen. This for me is one of the most important things to do as a leader, because how else are you going to understand what your followers want or need. Another important part of being a leader and a good listener is being able to be approachable, and have your followers be comfortable enough to address their problems with you.

Leadership Empathy is one of my strengths. Empathy is being able to sense the feelings of other people by imagining themselves in others lives or situations they may be in. You have insight on other peoples emotions and praise them often. To be a leader you need to be able to understand what your followers are going through so you can better lead and accommodate them.

Leadership Accountability: I have learned that accountability is a very important part of leadership, you have followers that you don’t want to let down or disappoint. A leader needs to be accountable for their own mistakes and take responsibility for their actions.

Leadership Developer is also another one of my Strengths. A developer is some one who can recognize and cultivate the potential in others. They can spot signs of each small improvement and derive from the satisfaction of these improvements.

Leadership Be an Example!! lead by your actions, you never know who is watching.

Leadership Role Theory: People will act with in roles that they adopt. I believe leaders learn from experiences and become the leader they are by the roles they are put in and that they adapt to.

Leadership Servant Leader: A servant leader is a leader who is in it to better others and “community”. I consider myself to ,be a servant leader as well as quiet leader which qualities include humility, high values and actions.

Leadership Hardworking: people are always looking up to you as a leader, so you always have to put in your best work and give 100% every time. Hard work makes the greatest leader because they get the job done.

Leadership Includer: The definition of an includer is someone who is accepting of others, show awareness of those who feel left out and make and effort to include them.

Leadership Positivity: Have an enthusiasm that is contagious, they are upbeat and can get others excited about what they are going to do.
