GRAVEYARD RELAY LOCATION: Down Stairs Gym OBJECTIVE: Get all cadets to run through the line in the manner explained below. Head to head race all teams space permitting safe execution. RULES: One team of 14 cadets from each school. 12 will lie on the floor; face down, at double arm intervals while 2 cadets are posted at the end of each line. (6 Girls, 6 Boys) There will be one cadet standing at each end of the line. They will be used as anchor turning points. These cadets must stay in their spots marked by the red tape. Cadets ARE allowed to use their anchor (cadet) as a “slingshot”. One cadet at a time will run stepping over the other cadet’s legs, down to one end, around the anchor, down and around the other anchor, and lay down back down in their spot. The next person cannot go until the previous person is lying down completely. The first team to go through their whole line will win. BAT SPIN RELAY LOCATION: Down Stairs Gym OBJECTIVE: Relay race of balance and speed after disorientation. Head to head competition all eight teams. fastest time. RULES: One Team of four cadets per school. Must spin 10 times (complete circles) before attempting to run to the other end, and tag the the other persons hand with a bat already in hand. Picnic Table Relay OBJECTIVE: Tear down and to set up your picnic table, chairs, and table settings. RULES: One team of 16 per school broken down into four teams of four. Teams start out with tables and chairs folded and picnic baskets full. On the command go, team one opens tables, opens and places three chairs under the table and places three settings of plates, cups, and napkins ON THE TABLE in front of each chair and places the empty basket in the middle of the table. ALL TEAM MEMBERS MUST THEN STEP BACK AND RAISE THEIR HANDS TO SHOW THE OFFICIALS THEY HAVE COMPLETED THEIR TASKS. THE JUDGE WILL THEN TELL THEM TO CONTINUE if they have achieved full set-up. When told to continue the team will pack up the three settings of plates, cups, and napkins pack them into the basket, fold up their table and chairs and move quickly to the next team of four cadets waiting to repeat the same process. THE TEAM MUST MOVE TOGETHER AS ONE UNIT TO THE NEXT STATION AND MAY NOT HELP THE TEAM THEY PASS THE ITEMS TO. The last team will be positioned at the finish line and upon receipt of the table, chairs and full basket; will set-up the items just as previous but will seat three team members one per chair at the table. The fourth will remain standing next to the table and all will raise their hands again signaling they are done! First team set-up at the finish line wins! THERE MUST BE TWO CADETS TO CARRY THE TABLE AT ALL TIMES WHILE THE TABLE IS FOLDED AND MOVING. THE TABLE LOCKS MUST BE INSTALLED UPON SETTING THE TABLE UPRIGHT. SCOOTER SWAP RELAY LOCATION: DOWNSATIRS GYM OBJECTIVE: Be the first team to complete the Scooter Relay the fastest! RULES: One team of 10 Cadets Seated on the four wheel scooter not touching the ground Seated Cadet is pushed and stopped by a driver. The riders feet may be used to slow the scooter down ONLY before switching places. Cadets swap positions on the return trip back to tag the hand of the next pair racing down. H2O RELAY LOCATION: Upstairs Gym OBJECTIVE: Fill the bucket in the rear as high as possible 3 minute timed event. Head to head style competition. RULES: One team of 20 cadets lined up in a single file line with one bucket at each end. The front bucket will have water and a sponge in it. The rear bucket will start empty. The cadets will be facing the full bucket in singe file line. Use the sponge to transfer water, passing sponge over the head to the person behind them. Throw sponge to front of line after squeezing water into the rear bucket. Most water in the bucket after time is up wins. The Thunderbird Battalion "Choose Greatness...Strive For Excellence!""

EGG DROP AND CATCH LOCATION: Upstairs Gym OBJECTIVE: The goal of this game is while standing on a chair, crack an egg open and have the contents of the egg fall into a cup held by another cadet on their head. Two minute timed event head to head. RULES: One team of three cadets from each school. One holding the egg, one cracking the egg, one catching the egg. The cadet cracking the egg stands on a chair. The cadet catching the egg lay’s down in front to the chair with a cup on their head. The cadet holding the eggs hands the eggs to the cadet cracking the egg. The highest filled cup wins. 2 minutes is the time limit. Can use any body part to crack egg while on chair. Cadets will remove any jewelry/watches prior to the event.
