Alliances of the Confederacy Since the confederacy was more agricultural, into growing cotton and such, they traded their products for weapons and reinforcements unlike the Union that could manufacture all of theirs. This made the Confederacy ally with France and Britain. Since they would rather prefer the USA be divided because of it’s increasing power.

Civil War affect on America’s future By America being able to stay as a whole after the war, it just made them stronger to thrive. So afterwards, America was able to thrive further, and so on be able to succeed in almost anything needed. The war was needed to be able to keep the nation as one, and become even more advanced and powerfull.

End of Civil War Final surrender occurred on June 23, 1865 The surrender occurred in Appomattox Courthouse, there where still small battles in all over the U.S, but this was the official surrender. General Robert E. Lee, Stonewall Jackson, P.G.T.Beauregard, est. There where many other Generals for the confederates. General Phil Sheridan, Ulysses S. Grant, William T. Sherman, George Armstrong Custer, George McClellan, and Admiral David Farragut where the Union generals.
