18 Zero to Hero: challenge brief With many more factories on the horizon to raise the ‘zero landfill’ banner, your task is to create a sustainable, environmentally friendly business who’s sole purpose is to turn factory waste into a marketable product. Your new business model must break even or make a profit selling the waste product created by each factory.

Your winning process 1. Study the different waste a Nestle factory may have 5b. Examples of companies or customers that would benefit from buying into your idea 3. Explain how it works and why you chose it? 4. Name your company AND your product or service 5a. Show us an annotated design of what you will sell OR… 2. Research or innovate a way to use that waste for another purpose 19

20 TASK 1 Using the handout provided, select a waste product to tackle and investigate other uses for that product Write notes as clearly as possible, as these will contribute to your final submission.
