Wikis are always changing as people add content to it. The word "Wiki" comes from Hawaiian language and means "quick". The most famous Wiki is Wikipedia. It is the largest reference web sites with almost 3 million articles.

Just as with paper files, the goal of computer file management is to ensure that you can find what you are looking for, even if you are looking for it years after its creation It is essential that both you and your pupils use a logical system for saving files and retrieving files. As you create more files it will become increasingly difficult to find the files you saved. Without an organised filing system in place you will lose track of what each file contains. It will be time consuming and frustrating when you want to retrieve specific documents if you do not have a filing system, particularly if it is a class activity and there are thirty voices searching for documents that cannot be found.
