Reading There is great information online that help you choose a major. Perhaps you would like more information on your area of expertise? Maybe you have not decided what you want to do! Wherever you are in your journey, here is a great website to help you start your exploration:

What career connection is right for you? With the O*Net Home page opened, you can click on "Find Occupations" link. Then find the job family title and click on the arrow to select your area of interest. Then click on "Go". Have fun exploring.

Kaplan University has it's own Career Services web site. This is a place to locate industry information, find job search assistance, find tips on how to write successful cover letters, and find interviewing tips and suggestions.

Go to your KU Campus homepage. The left-hand side of the page contains a number of useful links. Under the Support Services heading, click the link for Career Services. Once that page opens, look on the left-hand side of the page and open the link for your school and explore. Access the Kaplan University Career Services

Optimal Resume A resume is a place where you typically list your education, job experience, and skills. Your Kaplan University degree will enhance your education section immensely! Optimal Resume is a resume creation tool that is provided to Kaplan students. It can be accessed directly from the Career Services main page. You will explore this website on the next page.

New User to Optimal Resume? Click on the link below to go directly to the Optimal Resume website. Click on the "New Users Click Here" link and follow the instructions.

Homework Assignment Note that there is was no Project due last week so that you had the time to plan and complete the interview. The Interview with a Professional is due this week. Assignments are to be uploaded into the dropbox no later than Tuesday evening at 11:59 p.m.

Small Mistakes Add Up Helpful hints to success on the discussion board and on your homework assignments: Use spell, grammar, and punctuation checks on your Microsoft Word program to develop your initial and reply posts, and homework assignments.
