HOW WE PLAN TO ACHIEVE THIS Promote Erasmus/Exchange opportunities for students. Promote Erasmus/Exchange opportunities for staff. Establish new partnerships in Europe and Overseas – for student AND staff exchanges!

WHERE CAN YOU GO? Msida, MALTA University of Malta Stockholm - SWEDEN Stockholm University EUROPE and EEA Over 25 partners – the list is growing! Training / Teaching Mobility / Both Kalmar, Växjö - SWEDEN Linneaus University

ERASMUS+ STAFF MOBILITY Teaching / Training / or BOTH Normally staff go for 1 week or training or 8 hours of teaching. Limited funding available = only 17 places in 2015/16 across the university

WHAT FUNDING IS AVAILABLE?

Subsistence grant – between EUR per day

HOW DOES THE FUNDING WORK? You book your travel & accommodation via your school or department budget. After you have returned from your mobility submit expenses claim via Liquid Office Return all the paperwork to us, and we reimburse your department (June – August)

RESTRICTIONS ON FUNDING In the event of more initial applications being received than funded places available, priority will given (in line with the British Council guidance) to applications: a) from staff who have not undertaken training mobility previously b) from staff in Schools and Services that have not been involved in training mobility previously c) with training plans that are in line with and would contribute to the University’s strategic objectives exchanges/erasmus-and-staff-mobility

RESTRICTIONS ON FUNDING ELIGIBLE: Job Shadowing and Teaching Staff Training Weeks NOT ELIGIBLE Conferences New Partner Visits (500 EUR fund)

RESTRICTIONS ON FUNDING Only 17 places = 86 days = EUR Mobility completed & paperwork returned to IRO by September 10 th (BC final reporting).

HOW TO APPLY? Make initial contact with the partner university. Gain approval from your line manager / dean of school. Submit initial application form to by December 1 st Hear back if you’ve been successful by end of term. Confirm your place by Jan!

WHAT’S DIFFERENT? Exclusively to non-partner universities with a view of establishing an Erasmus+ student/staff exchange agreement. Open for academic staff. Only EUROPE / EEA. 8 places at € 500 each!

HOW TO APPLY? Make initial contact with the partner university. Gain approval from your line manager / dean of school. Submit initial application form to by December 1 st Hear back if you’ve been successful by end of term. Confirm your place by Jan!
