Impact Assessment Seminar Phnom Penh, 2-6 December 2013 Who are you and what is the reason for your presence at the seminar? Srey Sokha (Ms), M&E Project Manager in Local Inclusive Development Program. Participate in this seminar is the opportunity for me to exchange the experiences and learn more from different national partners of HI about the methodologies/tools on impact/change measurement. To improve my current skill as M&E officer to be more effective in conduct monitoring and evaluation. To discuss and exchange idea on impact assessment system. Photo

Have you ever conducted in the context of your activity, studies or impact assessment and evaluation? I have conducted many monitoring activities using Focus Group Discussion, In depth interview and case-study. Currently, while the project going to end, I have conduct evaluation activity with beneficiary groups of the project. Due to limited knowledge and experiences in M&E, mostly I used very simple method in monitoring and evaluation the project. Thus, this seminar would the good opportunity to enhance my knowledge on impact assessment and evaluation. I expect to learn more from expertise and exchange experiences with participants who are partner of HI from different country. Impact Assessment Seminar Phnom Penh, 2-6 December 2013

What are, according to you, HI’s challenges in terms of impact assessment and evaluation? HI does not has standard and clear methods/tools yet in impact assessment and evaluation its projects. HI does not has clear M&E system to be used for the whole organization. Each project has their own M&E tools and it is different to the form and requirement from head quarter. There are so many updated monitoring form from HQ but none were used properly. Each tools always change and take time for the project to follow and adapt. Impact Assessment Seminar Phnom Penh, 2-6 December 2013

What questions would you like this seminar to answer? After this seminar, does HI able to develop M&E standard to be used for the whole organization? What input do I need to contribute in this seminar? What do you expect from each participant to do after the seminar? Impact Assessment Seminar Phnom Penh, 2-6 December 2013
