IEEE Central Texas Section Globcom 2014 – First Digital conference that will bring balance between technology advancement (Academia) and Applications (Industry), providing a unique value proposition. Globecome14 is seeking out volunteers for helping, leadership and experience in different areas. Below is a list of available functional areas: 1.Infrastructure IT (WiFi/Cellular) support 2.Creative Service support for backdrops, banners, posters, digital display, etc. 3.Collection & integration of content: Hotel, City, program, schedule, videos, photos, etc. 4.Update to: Website, Mobile app, social media, community – content Update 5.Promotion: Media, , direct mail, printed material, social media 6.Registration support. 7.Coordination & Support with keynote speakers, session chairs, speakers and exhibits 8.Room Monitors & Tracking – scanning attendees to sessions 9.Schedule tracking (session/speakers/location) 10.Change notification and announcements 11.Public Relations: Communications message platform, press releases, invitation to Gov.
