How much of a discount do you get per item if you are buying 2 items on sale for a buy one get one half off? Justify your answer.

An item’s regular price was given and the discounted price was given. Calculate the percent of the discount.

For every 3 of one item you purchase, you want to purchase 1 of another item. Compute how many you can buy for a certain amount of money.
