Mrs. Corder’s 3rd Grade Class Welcome!

Welcome to Mrs. Corder’s 3rd Grade! Third-grade is an important transitional year for students as they develop the maturity, responsibility, and skills necessary for the upper grades.

My Goals To help your student gain the tools they need to be successful in school and in life. To provide a safe, fun, and supportive learning environment. To help them make new friends and discover new interests.

Homework Current research on homework Reading – Help create a love of reading by making it a relaxing family activity. Math – Short, fun facts practice. Multiplication Goals – 0’s, 1’s, 2’s, and 10’s by the end of November.

Third Grade Reading Curriculum English-Language Arts MacMillan/McGraw-Hill Treasures REACH Reading Intervention Program Accelerated Reading Goal – 1 point each week
