 Transfers energy form the upper to the lower body.  Positions Torso  Improves movement efficiency  Improves body control and balance  Improves overall fitness  Reduces back problems  Reduces chance of injury  Stabilizes back muscles and abdominals

 Always Stretch before exercises.  Warm up….run a few laps or do something to increase your heart rate.  Consult your doctor before you start your core workout.

 This wont cause any injuries…it is safe to do.  This is the good way to go  You are very smart if you do this exercise instead of being not smart and doing the exercise in the next slide!

 This will cause injuries…DO NOT DO THIS EXERCISE!!!!  CAUTION: This exercise may be hazardous to your health and can cause very painful injuries.

 Any heart conditions  Problems with breathing  Pains in chest while participating in any physical exercises or running  Chest pains in the chest in the past month  Losing balance due to dizziness or loss of consciousness
