XML Repository of Common Tasks Principal Investigator: Daniel K. Davies, MA – AbleLink Technologies, Colorado Springs, CO Project Partner: Michael Wehmeyer, PhD - University of Kansas Beach Center on Disability - University Center on Developmental Disabilities Specific Aim: To develop an online library of prompting tasks using a standardized XML protocol for task-based prompting to facilitate sharing and reuse of instructional media for use across multiple platforms and programs. Initially, the project will further development of the XML protocol and build the framework for the task repository, develop a cross-platform application for creating instructional content according to the XML protocol, followed by an effort to promote creation of tasks to populate the online repository with instructional media content templates for use in home, educational, and vocational environments.
