University of Colorado at Denver & Health Sciences Center, School of Medicine, Department of Physical Medicine & Rehabilitation D2. Development of HealthQuest Principal Investigator: Daniel K. Davies, MA – AbleLink Technologies, Colorado Springs, CO Project Partner: Michael Wehmeyer, PhD - University of Kansas Beach Center on Disability - University Center on Developmental Disabilities Specific Aim: To develop an Internet-based system that will enable individuals with intellectual disabilities to become active participants in their own health care by enabling them to 1) independently assess their own personal health condition and 2) access health care information and step-by-step instructions for both preventative and responsive health care needs.
