California Integrated Waste Management Board 2 Background Included in the Board’s approved document, Five- Year Plan for the Waste Tire Recycling Management Program –4th Edition Covering Fiscal Years 2007/2008 – 2010/2011 Applicant & Project Eligibility Must divert a minimum of 2,500 CA waste tires Must divert a minimum of 2,500 CA waste tires Maximum of $5 per tire diverted Maximum of $5 per tire diverted Public entities purchasing tire-derived products such as sport surfacing, sidewalks, weed abatement covers, mulch, sound barriers and traffic safety products
