Aims of the LSTF 1.Encourage and assist economic growth through the provision of sustainable and accessible transport solutions 2.Help to decarbonise transport through an increase in the use of sustainable modes of transport 3.Funding available between 2011/12 – 2014/15 to assist the above

Telford’s strategy Submission of a component bid with: – A small scale package bid up to £5m (£3.5m secured) – A large scheme up to £50m (£6m secured) A deliverable package bid focussed on key areas of growth or issues Pump priming initiatives

Objectives of Telford’s package bid Provision of support in 3 areas: – Support for tourism sector – Address congestion outside schools – Support for business Reducing segregation between land uses Provide alternatives to car use
