Aims To develop a WebCT module to be used in the Professional development / ICT training of TAFE staff in utilizing and linking to library resources for online delivery Develop and promote access to library and web resources/links for teachers involved in flexible learning/e- learning including –Online journals/articles and data sources (Databases) –Infogates –Online reserve –Creating persistant links to articles from databases and online reserve

Professional development Creating online course materials using WebCT WebCT course management Use of online quizzes Writing clear instructions Visual design and layout concepts Provide support for teachers in using ICT technologies to deliver access to library resources Develop teaching/facilitating strategies for online learning

Collaboration Project facilitator - Library staff (Brenda Burr) Teacher – Art department Teacher – Community Services department Project manager – Lilian Austin (Learning Strategies) Teachers –Promote library resources and services –Consider how online resources can be used in teaching delivery –Trial with teachers and review

Funding Backfill for Library staff member 10 hours each of teachers’ time Graphic design Project to be completed by end of October 2003.
