Welcome Module 25

Aim To provide the knowledge, skills and attitudes to effectively support adults through the Scout Association’s Adult Training Scheme.

Objectives There are eight overall objectives for this module Plan to meet training and development needs Demonstrate acceptance of the Purpose, Principle and Method of the Scout Association Demonstrate commitment to the concepts, content and policies of training within the Scout Association Describe the pattern of adult training and their responsibilities within it Monitor, support and encourage adults undergoing formal training Identify the learning and development needs of people they support Undertake appropriate validations and assessments of learning Provide positive and constructive feedback

Session 1 - Introduction Assessing Learning looks at the pattern of Adult Training and specific responsibilities within it The module also covers the tools and processes used by Training Advisers, including validation of learning It is mandatory for line managers and Training Advisers
