Features & Benefits to Assist in Data Entry Multiple Basic and Custom Chart Sections. Typing “shortcuts” provide rapid text entry. Auto-fill of fields that often do not change between progress notes nor between medication orders means fewer fields to be entered in most cases. Pull-down lists of commonly used terms and phrases quickens entry and safeguards against typos.

Automatic reminders and “sticky notes”

System Management Full backup and restore capability to hard disk, floppy disks, ZIP drive, CD-ROM. Backups are encrypted and password protected to provide full data integrity. Export to and import from “satellite” databases to distribute work to multiple parties, such as transcriptionists. Database compaction and repair protects against hard drive failures.

Specifications Can use Microsoft Access, Microsoft SQL Server, Oracle, DB2 or Sybase for database storage. Requires Windows 95, Windows 98 or NT 4.0. Certification on Windows 2000 is forthcoming. Requires at least nnn Kbytes of RAM and a 1 GB hard drive. Supports any TWAIN-compliant scanner
