Active Workplace Project Our Active Workplace Projects will support you to... Improve absenteeism Increase productivity Improve the Health & Wellbeing... of your workforce

Benefits of swimming to your workforce Swimming improves general wellbeing providing a preventative approach to inactivity Swimming is an activity for all supporting your whole workforce (and their families) Aerobic activity such as swimming helps reduce illness reducing the number of sick days taken Swimming is great for stress relief allowing employees to switch off and return to work refreshed Swimming can bring people together creating a stronger and supportive workplace

What’s in an ‘Offer’? Each Active Workplace scheme is bespoke, looking at your workforce and business aims and objectives. The ASA provides resources and helps you create networks. You receive constant support from the regional team.

An AWP could include... Increased awareness among staff and key teams Completing research to find out if your workforce Training for leads and workplace ‘Champions’ Including Swimming and Aquatics at your roadshows and events Submitting teams to local or national challenges Encouraging your staff to achieve their personal aquatic goals Facilitating links to local pools and aquatic opportunities

Research... Pre-intervention questionnaire will sent to your staff This is focussed on finding out what their aquatic preferences are. Once we have collated the results we will approach an appropriate leisure provider and work out what they can offer your staff. Advertise the offer to your staff. Monitor the participation.
