The biggest primary way to make money is the Movie Industry. That does not just mean being famous that means being a director, movie writer, producer, set designer, hair stylist, and much, much more.

The main bodies of water in California are the Sacramento River, The Colorado River, and the Monterey bay.

California’s summers are hot and dry and the mild winters are rainy. Near the coast the range is as low as 40f (4.4c) and can get as high as in the 70f (21.1c) and 80f (26.7c)

The California gold rush started on January 24, The gold was found by James W. Marshall at Sutter’s Mill. In Coloma, California. The first to hear about the gold was the people in Oregon, Sandwich Islands( Hawaii), and the Latin Americans, who were the first to start crowding the state in late People heard it brought 300,000 to California, United States and aboard. Of the 300,000, approximately half came over sea and the other half came from the California Trail or the Gila River Trail. The California earthquake of 1906 was a very bad earthquake. This earthquake started at 5:12 on a regular Wednesday morning until people were woken by the horrible sound of the rumbling earthquake. This earth quake destroyed thousands of homes. I feel bad for those people. Last but not least, Father Junipero Serra found San Diego de alcala, the very first of 21 missions established by priests in California.

Dominique Moreanir, Ronald Reagen, and Walt Disney are all some important people in California. Dominique was a famous gymnast who won gold medal in the Olympics. Walt Disney was the founder of the thing we now call Disney. Ronald Reagen was a man who decided to take a career in entertainment.

The top 3 tourist attractions in California are Hollywood, the Golden Gate Bridge, and the Disney Parks.

California’s state flag was originally suppose to be a pear, but the man who was making the flag, thought the first guy said bear, so he put a bear on the flag- instead of a pear! California is the third biggest state in the U.S.

The current governor of California is Jerry Brown. He is a democrat who was elected on November 2, 2010.
