 We are a nonprofit, Christian housing ministry  We give a “HAND UP” not a “HAND OUT”  Families are chosen based on need, income, willingness to work, and ability to repay Habitat For Humanity

 Johnson county house costs about $130,000+  Families pay about $500-$600 a month How much does it cost?

What is Collegiate Challenge?  “Habitat for Humanity’s Collegiate Challenge Program is a year round alternative break program where students spend one week working with a habitat affiliate, community and partner families to help eliminate poverty housing in the area. Students will have the opportunity to construct houses for families in need and gain a fulfilling and rewarding experience.”

Trip Details  Where: Oklahoma City, OK  When: Monday, March 17 th – Saturday, March 23 rd  Cost: $250 per person (Includes transportation, accommodation, and food)

Who can go?  We are looking for passionate and energetic individuals who want to make a difference in the lives of other people.  NO CONSTRUCTION EXPERIENCE NECESSARY! (This is also a learning experience. You will be amazed by what you accomplish at the end of the week).

Apply  Please write your name and down on the Spring Break paper.  We will you an application that will require you to fill out some basic information and write a few sentences about why you would like to be a participant on the trip.  Those in the Spring Break Planning Committee have priority, but there are still several spots available.  Don’t be afraid to apply even if you are new to Habitat this semester!
