Positive Behaviors Interventions and Support PBIS Positive Behaviors Interventions and Support Click to add subtitle: Should we write “SCHOOLWIDE POSITIVE BEHAVIOR”

What is PBIS? It stands for Positive Behavior Interventions and Supports Focuses on Positive actions and doing the right thing.

Parts of PBIS PBIS has 4 main components School wide expectations Classroom expectations Positive Rewards Consequences I would take out the periods…everywhere…

3 Pillars for Parks Students Be Responsible Be Respectful Be Purposeful

Being Responsible What does this mean? Being a person who can be trusted to do what is required or expected Something you do because it is morally right or legally required “Being a person WHO can ben trusted…”

Being Respectful What can this look like? Treating others how you would want to be treated: with courtesy and politeness If you don’t have anything positive to say to someone please don’t say it

Being Purposeful What does this look like? Have a goal in mind (what do you want to accomplish) Be deliberate in your actions Ask yourself if your actions have a positive intention Think about meaningful behavior….is that what you meant?? What I typed above?
