Guidelines for Artwork Do not put the sun in the corner of the page. Fill the page. Make sure your people and animals are not floating. Do not draw stick figures. Do not add logos or other copyrighted or trademarked material to your work unless you are instructed to do so. Do not write words on your artwork.

Guidelines for Artwork Craftsmanship – Drawings and Paintings Neat. Clean. Free of smudges, muddy areas, and scribbles. Paper should be wrinkles free with no holes or tears.

Guidelines for Artwork Craftsmanship – Ceramics Texture should be intentional. Parts should be of an even thickness. Balanced with a flat bottom.

Before I turn my work in: Is my name and class period on this? Have I met all the requirements of the assignment? How is my craftsmanship? Is my artwork neat and ready for display?

COVER REQUIREMENTS 54 SKETCHES FOR COVER Make three thumbnail sketches with cover design ideas. Choose the best one and decorate the cover of your notebook with that design. If your notebook already has a design on the cover, draw your design on the inside cover or tape a white piece of paper over the cover and draw the design on that. Draw yourself as a Lego mini figure. Outline the figure with the black marker and add color. Covers are due Monday.
