Short-term and Long-term goals The most common job seeking techniques are: –Relying on personal contacts or networking –Help wanted advertisement – online or newspapers –Using employment services –Contacting employers directly Setting up your schedule is critical to your success –Have a realistic time frame per day dedicated to your job search –Have a plan so you can track your progress –Do not be “hit-or-miss”, rather be consistent Stick to it – job searching takes a daily effort Job hunting is tough work Challenging spiritually, physically, emotionally and intellectually

It will make you more effective Don’t take short cuts –Do more than you think you should
