Benjamin Franklin had discover electricity. Alexander Hamilton was the founder of the national financial. John Jay was the first chief of the supreme court. James Madison was the fourth president of the United States of America.

New England Massachusetts, Connecticut, New Hampshire, Rhode Island famous for fishing whaling and shipbuilding. The middle colonies New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey, Delaware famous for farms, logging and shipbuilding. Southern colonies Maryland, Virginia, North and South Carolina, Georgia famous for farming, rice and indigo.

Three tools for uses were wooden wheels, press and the hammer. Wooden wheels used to move many things. Press used for printing items like newspaper. A hammer is used for building and breaking things.

During the times of war they used fifes and drums to make music. Peter Pelham was a great musician.

Crafts were a part of many people’s lives in the colonial times. Weaving was used to make cloths and blankets and people did it for jobs sometimes.

Basketmakers make beautiful baskets to carry loads. Gardeners garden, plants trees and flowers of all kinds. Brickmakers mold, dry and fry bricks. In the colonial times jobs were an important piece of citizens lives.

Games were important in the colonial times for kids and adults to have a great time. Weaving is one thing adults did for crafts. Children often played games to keep themselves entertained when they were in the colonial times.
