Way forward for IPPE-2 NREGS must build upon the social capital generated through community mobilization under NRLM; SHGs/VO can play a pivotal role in identifying the individual beneficiaries; Focus on livelihoods of individual families based on judicious and optimization usage of natural resources.

Learning Community engagement during planning process through use of various PRA tools. Discuss and listing of each issues related to individual and community for livelihood, infrastructure etc. Nigrani samiti played active role during implementation. Increase wage rate from existing agriculture wage rate (Rs. 60 to 70). Convergence with others department – NABARD, HORTICULIUTE, ANIMAL HUSBANDRY, AGRICULTURE, RKVY etc.

Way forward – IPPE-2 Ensure role of SHG/VO and other institutions. Use of various PRA tools during planning process by trained BPT/Resource person VO representative, CRP etc will act as key facilitator during planning process. Convergence with all department and insure their participation during planning and implementation process. VO- Nigrani samiti (sub committee) will monitor during implementation and put their gram sabha. Focus on livelihood – farm based livelihood
