Who prepared the sandwiches for you guys? Nuestra abuela nos los preparó. Our grandmother prepared them for us.

When direct and indirect object pronouns are used together, the indirect object pronoun always precedes the direct object pronoun. El camarero te da el menú.  El camarero te lo da. ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ IO DO IO DO The waiter is giving you the menu. The waiter is giving it to you.

Two pronouns that begin with the letter l cannot be used together. ↑ ↑ ↑ ↑ IO DO IO DO The chef recommended the lobster to his customers. The chef recommended it to them. Le pido el salmón a mi amigo.  Se lo pido. ↑ ↑ IO DO IO DO I’m ordering the salmon for my friend. I’m ordering it for him.

Remember that when an infinitive or a present participle is present, you have two options for object pronoun placement. The waitress is going to serve the salads to them. The waitress is going to serve them to them. Mi padre nos está preparando el pescado. My father is preparing the fish for us. My father is preparing it for us.
