Key facts 22,800 people are employed in the radio industry. About 350 organisations within the industry. Two thirds of the radio workforce are graduates in radio related subjects – audio production etc. 58% of freelancers working in the industry hold a graduate qualification, whereas 66% of employees in the industry don’t.
