 Clinical competency test on fissure sealant Complete 4 FS in child patients to be eligible (use FS log sheet) Evaluated on case selection & each stage of clinical procedure If fail, remedial of 2 FS before re-test  Oral competency test Complete threshold clinical & IVLE module requirements to be eligible Viva : 15 mins, conducted with aid of clinical slides, radiographs, casts etc on all aspects of paediatric dentistry IVLE module : series of case studies in Paediatric Dentistry mounted on NUS website To complete 3 cases assigned by staff Competencies in Paediatric Dentistry

Continual Assessment 40% of final marks for Paediatric Dentistry  2 written assessments  Performance at Tutorials/ Seminars  Oral Competency Test  Clinical FS Competency Test  Clinical Schedule  Patient Management

Final Assessment  Examined in final BDS Professional Examination at end of Year 4  2 hrs written paper comprising of 2 essay type questions (structured or long)  Makes up 60% of final marks for Paediatric Dentistry  40% from CA
