2 2 MY BACKGROUND  22 years as a dental hygienist for the Health Department of the City of Ottawa  10 years in private practice as a dental hygienist and a dental assistant  1 semester teaching Community Dental Health at Algonquin College

3 3 GOALS AND OBJECTIVES GOAL: To know and understand the role of the Dental Hygienist in oral health care, and the education of target populations and the community in general.
