What does the Theme 20 ‘Energy sources’ mean exactly? In data specifications Energy resources theme provides models for energy potential – resources (non-renewable. renewable + waste) for past resources, current and future ones. The use = consumption is not the primary goal Energy intensity - Industrial/Residential/Tertiary/Regional economy: not in the Energy Resources or EMF. Production facilities, Governmental services, Agricultural & aquaculture facilities relates to the facilities that produce and/ or consume energy as well. It may be related with Land use

Does the Theme 7 ‘Environmental monitoring Facilities’ includes observations of GHG emissions? YES Does the Theme 7 ‘Environmental monitoring Facilities’ includes model output of GHG emissions? NO, but other themes do

Can Observatories make use of INSPIRE to have better access to certain data ? (e.g data from Theme 8 ‘Production and Industrial Facilities’) INSPIRE data policy does not cover 'private sector data' However, if private sector 'reports' under thematic legislation to public authority, PA, then this data should be 'shareable' with other public authority 'custodian' PA should have INSPIRE 'services' which observatories can 'connect' to input side of models
