Invention: Holograms A hologram is formed when the interference of two waves of light are recorded on a piece of film Holography had been experimented on since 1954 It wasn’t until when Dennis Gabor came around with a developed laser it worked well To day it has many uses such as measuring in particle physics and as bar code readers

Inventor: Dennis Gabor Dennis was born in Budapest, Hungary. Dennis Was born on June 5, He went to Berlin, Germany to get his doctoral and bachelors degree. He left Germany in 1933 when Hitler was coming to power. He also tried to develop things such as a holographic microscope, a thermionic converter, an electron-velocity spectroscope, and finally a flat color television tube He received a Nobel Peace Award for physics Dennis Gabor died in London in 1979
