Invention : Crayola Crayons In 1903 the 8 pack of crayons was invented Since 1903 when an 8 pack of crayons was invented they have expanded in success in number of ways In 1949 a 48 pack of crayons was invented In 1958 a 64 pack of crayons with a built in crayon sharpener was invented In 1972 florescent colors were added to the boxes In 1993 the pack of 96 was invented Also in 1993 the color “Flesh” (skin color) was changed to the name “Peach”
