climate The climate of brazil varies considerly mostly from tropical north ( the equator traverses the mouth of the Amazon) to temperate zones below the tropic of capcorion 23 degrees Celsius,27 degrees f latitude. Temperatures below the equator are high, overage above 25 degrees Celsius (77 degrees f), but not reaching the summer extreme of up to 40 degrees Celsius (104 degrees f) in the temperature zones. There is little seasonal variation near the equator, although at times it can get cool enough for wearing a jacket especially in the rain.

Being in the southern hemisphere the seasons are the opposite of the uk and one will find the most similar temperatures and weather in June and July, at least in sae Paulo. The north is invariable hot and quite arid, but the coastal areas having the benefit of a gentle sea breeze most of the time –sea climate – map The climate in brazil varies from the intense tropical around the Amazon where at times it call be almost 100% humidity and yet not be raining, to the temperate climate in Santa Catharina where snow is known in the winter, as the land is kept cool by the cold currents coming up from the folk land island. The climate breaks down into five main areas- equatorial (covering all of the Amazon from the northern coast to the tropic of Capricorn ) semi-arid tropical (in the interior of the north east) and the sub tropical or temperate (below the tropic of Capricorn and down to the argentine and Uruguay borders)

Temperature Brazil climate Temperature of Brazil Brazil is often thought of as being an extremely hot and humid country, known for its Amazon rainforest, the average temperatures vary around the country. Northeastern Brazil is the driest and one of the hottest regions in the country, experiencing periodic droughts. The north includes the Amazon, which is home to a large expanse hot and humid forests. The temperate south, including the cities of Sao Paulo and Rio de Janeiro experience cool winters and hot summers, with rain throughout the year and snow at higher elevations.
