 Did you notice how many doors there were?  What was the color of the floor?  What was the letter spray painted on the wall?  Did you notice the gorilla walking around?

 Distraction helps the child focus on something interesting and fun.  Distraction offers the child choices and gives a sense of control over medical situations.  Distraction interventions help the child cope with their experiences.
