Mixed Number A Mixed Number has a whole number and an fraction with it. For example 5 ¼ is a mixed number.

Improper Fraction A Improper Fraction is a numerator that is higher then the denominator. Here is an example 8/6.

Renaming mixed numbers Renaming mixed numbers is when you change a mixed number by turning it into a improper fraction. For example 1 ½ is a mixed number turn it into a improper fraction and you have 3/2.

Common denominator A Common denominator is when you have two denominators that are not the same and they both are multiples of the same number. For example 1/3 + ¾ = 13/12

Simplest terms Simplest terms is a fraction that cannot get reduced any more. For example ½ is in its Simplest terms.

Ratios A Ratios is a comparison by division by two quantities. Here is an example – 1:27 means there is one teacher for every 27 students.

Unit percent's A Unit percent is an number percent. Here is a example 51% is a Unit percent.

Decimal numbers A Decimal numbers is a number that is a decimal. Here is an example .51 is a Decimal number.
