The Cardiovascular System Today’s Objectives:  Students will be able to explain the role of the cardiovascular system.  Students will be able to identify major structures that make up this system.  Students will be able to explain the relationship between the muscular system and the cardiovascular system.

The Cardiovascular System This system goes by many names, you may recognize it by either the circulatory system or cardiovascular system! HOW IT WORKS This system is responsible for delivering oxygen and nutrients to our tissues and organs and carry away waste.

The Heart Use the picture below to help you complete your diagram. Work carefully to label the appropriate structures. Ok, here are the structures, but how does it work!! Blood Flow Cardiovascular Rap Think you know your stuff?
