 Definition: Is air  Layer of gases  Saves the earth from the rays of the sun  When you go higher the air thins out  The layers of the atmosphere are: troposphere, stratosphere, mesosphere thermosphere, exosphere  The atmosphere is always on motion

 The atmosphere is also referred to as air  Atmosphere is dry air contained roughly by volume

 Definition: Solid portion of the earth  Is the outer shell of a rocky planet  Volcanism is the phenomenon connected to volcanoes and volcano activity.  When the continents move it’s called the continental drift.  All of the plate tectonics move different ways at different speeds  The plate tectonics move about how fast your fingernails grow

 Consists of combined portions of earth such as land, water, and air  Definition: Part of the earth’s crust, waters, atmosphere that supports life  Biological part of earth’s system  To say biosphere is to describe our living world

 Definition: The watery part of the earth’s surface.  The hydrosphere consists of all earth’s water sources such as: river, lakes, oceans, and ponds.  The parts of the water cycle in order are: evaporation, condensation, precipitation, and collection. Then it starts all over again.

 The hydrosphere is also called the water sphere  The hydrosphere is always in motion just like the atmosphere
