FACTS ABOUT THE WOLF SIZE: The size of a wolf Is 2.6 to 6.5 feet. Body covering and color: The wolf is covered with fur that is black, grey and white. How it breathes: The wolf breathes through its nose.

WOLF FACTS How it moves: The wolf walks or runs on 4 legs. Food: The wolf can eat up to 20lbs (9kg). The wolf eats Elk, Moose, Caribou, Deer, Bison and Muskox. Rest sleeps: The wolf sleeps in a den or forest.

MOREFACTS ABOUT THE WOLF Where it lives: the wolf lives in a forest or a den. What it does in the winter: The wolf hunts the same as it does in any other seasons

LIFE CYCLE Life cycle: When wolf babies, called pups are born they stay in the den for a few weeks. When they are three weeks old they leave the den. They grow to adults and have their own babies. In a litter there can be 2 to 7 wolves.

ENEMIES Humans are the only enemies to wolves. Wolves don’t really want to attack, so they just growl and get vicious to try to scare them away.
