They can live 7 to 8 years in the wild but some have lived 10 years or more. They are 26 to 32 inches tall at the shoulder. Length 4 and a half to 6 and a half feet from end of tail to nose. 55 to 130 pounds males are usually heavier and taller. Grey wolves are endangered. Adults can eat 20 pounds of meat in one meal. Wolves can be different sizes depending were they are. Arabian wolf ->

They eat elk, deer, moose, caribou, beaver, rabbits and other animals they will also eat dead animals. Grey wolves can be called gray wolves, common wolves, timber wolves, canis lupus and many other names. They usually hunt and travel in packs of 4 to 7. They live in Canada, Alaska, Idaho, Michigan, Minnesota, Montana, Wisconsin and Wyoming they used to live all over America until people started hunting them and most were killed off by 1930.

Wolves breed on January and February. They are born in about 63 days. There litter sizes are 4 to 7 pups. Pups are born blind and defenseless. The pack cares for them for about ten months.

I chose this because I had a wolf husky mix and because my last name is Wolfe also because I wanted to learn more about them.
