2 What do gray wolves eat? Gray wolves are predators they eat prey.
They eat deer, moose, elk, and caribou. Moose and elk can easily kill a wolf. When wolves hunt in packs its easier to kill an animal.

3 What do gray wolves eat Continued?
Gray wolves can eat small animals too. They can eat rabbits, bunnies, and squirrels. In the summer grey wolves can eat beavers.

4 Wolf Families Each litter in a wolf family has 4 to 7 puppies.
Sometimes a wolf family can have up to 11 puppies. Wolves live in packs. They have 10 to 11 members in a pack. A wolf pack is different from a pack of dogs. A gray wolf is the same thing as an arctic wolf.

5 Where do gray wolves live?
Gray wolves live in North America, South America, and Asia. They can also live in forests because their fur blends in with the trees. Since gray wolves are arctic wolves too, gray wolves can live in tundra’s. They can also live in Europe.

6 What do gray wolves look like?
Gray wolves have grey bodies and white legs. Most gray wolves have brown eyes but others may have green. They have very furry tails. They have pointy ears like some dogs. Gray wolves have grey and white snouts with a black nose.

7 How different are wolves from dogs?
Adult wolves weigh about 80 to 120 pounds The dog family includes: dogs, wolves, and foxes. Gray wolves and red wolves can have mixed breed puppies. Some dogs such as the Saint Bernard are almost as big as a gray wolf.
