Bringing Members In First Club Visit –Set the stage: Assign a committee member to join with the sponsor Ask a few members with similarities to greet & join the table Provide names to President & Sgt at Arms; cite at the podium Ask them back again (2 free visits until application) – Get a card Have Information Kits or material available for immediate handout –Follow-up: Send a formal letter, personal note and/or additional materials Decide who will send – Membership Chair, President, etc. If formal letter used, cite application process & costs Keep a record and assign committee follow-up contact

Bringing Members In Pre-Induction Process: –Clearly explain benefits, responsibilities, costs, along with the opportunities for service & fellowship –Complete Membership Proposal Application, inform of the process: Board approval, 10 day notice to membership, then acceptance/induction –Remind & Encourage that they keep coming to weekly meetings during this period (free meals?) –Keep up the enthusiasm and Committee liaison to continue the feeling of being welcome
