The following one will be at RAL in November 4-8 (exact days to be defined) thanks to Ian Taylor’s initiative. 3. Next MICE Project Board, MPB-5, will take place on May 9. NEW: it will be preceded by a two day RSLR (Resource Loaded Schedule Review) And followed by the MICE Funding Agency Committee

MICE VC Alain Blondel 2 1.Spectrometer solenoid SS2 is now ready for field mapping and shipping. Decision was made (TB 25 March) to peform mapping at WANG NMR. -- this leaves open possibility to implement return yoke (or not) -- should not delay SS1 requires shipping mapping equipment and Virostek plates. must be boxed in steamed cooked plywood for California. 2. SS1 (aka the second magnet) is still in construction; expect training in May 3. Focus coil FC1 has reached full field in solenoid mode but has experienced several quenches at the same current (157.6, 159, 162A)  training is too slow, we need to reach ~ 225A …  investigation by TESLA Co. See next talk. FC2 at RAL around 1 June(?). 4. Present MOM is Ian Taylor, next will be Linda Coney. Will resent request for MOMs until end of 2013 please respond positively! 5. EMR construction progressing well just about to readout cosmics on 6 completed (12 planes = ¼ of detector) 6.EMR run will be in user run 9 July-8 August.
