Have you read the books about Sherlock Holmes, by Sir Arthur Conan Doyle? Or watched any adaptation for movie or TV? Discuss in groups!

The task 1st step: – The class will divide into 4 groups, and each will select a version of Sherlock Holmes – it can either be from TV, movie or book. 2nd step: – All members from the group will read or watch the chosen version; then, you will work on an original story based on it. Task

How To Do It 1st- Divide the students in groups of five components, at least. All member from the group will be responsible for read or watch the chosen version. 2 nd - Each group will write a script with an original story using the characters and the world from the chosen version; then, they will perform their script at class. 3 rd Prepare the project and give the script to your teacher in two weeks for 1 st step of evaluation. Then, the teacher will arrange a date for the presentations. How To Do It

Conclusion Did you enjoy this webquest? Was it interesting to write a script of your own? And did it change the way you used to see Sherlock Holmes and his stories? Now you can create your own scripts and stories!

Evaluation Each group will evaluate the other three groups and themselves. They'll give one of these scores: "Excellent", "Very Good", "Good" or "Regular", following these criteria: -Use of the Language/Creativity -Functionality -Originality The group will also have to explain their decisions. The final grade will be taken from the groups' grades and the teachers'.

This project was designed for intermediate or advanced students to improve their writing, reading and creativity skills. It can be adapted according to what the teacher will work in class.
